Work/Life Balance

Kenexa research demonstrates how various work situations can affect employees’ outlooks in and outside of the organization. Work/life balance is the employee’s ability to balance both his/her professional and personal lives in a healthy manner, which includes balancing stress.

Working in an organization that does not support work/life balance has a significant, unfavorable impact on how workers rate pride in their organization, willingness to recommend it as a place to work and overall job satisfaction. Additionally, those employees who indicate less favorability toward their organization’s efforts to support work/life balance also indicate a much higher intent to leave the organization.
